The theatre
The TAK is one of the longest existing cultural institutions of Liechtenstein. Founded in 1970, the TAK developed to a well-known stage, offering a wide variety of productions to a local and inter-regional audience from Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Austria and even Germany. Since 1972 the theatre is run as a registered co-operative.

The TAK mainly hosts guest productions of plays, concerts, children and youth theatre and political cabaret. Literature and dance are also a regular part of the season. Occasionally, the TAK produces own productions of plays and children and youth theatre.

The venues used are the TAK itself (295 seats), the nice an ancient cinema TAKino (100 seats), the newly built townhall of Schaan, SAL (650 seats) and the town hall of Vaduz (644 seats).
